Lake of the Rockies Metro District
Per Public Health Order 20-28 (Safer at Homes and in the Vast, Great Outdoors), effective June 4, 2020 playgrounds and outdoor sports facilities, such as tennis and pickleball courts, may be open for use for no more than ten (10) people at a time. Members of separate households should practice social distancing.
The Lake of the Rockies Metro District is situated in Monument, Colorado West of I-25 with incredible views of the mountains, private open space, and easy access to Pike National Forest and Monument Lake.
The primary purpose of the District is to finance the construction and maintenance of public improvements for the use and benefit of all anticipated inhabitants and taxpayers of the District. The District’s Service Plan was approved by the Town of Monument’s Board of Trustees on January 20, 2015. The District is recognized as an independent unit of local government, separate and distinct from the Town.

JULY 27, 2020 -- We are continuing to experience a communications system outage. When callers dial 811 they are experiencing dead air followed by a busy signal. We to ask all callers to utilize our online services - iDig811, Web Ticket Entry (WTE), and Ticket Express - to submit ticket requests
